We long for God's love to overflow through everyone in our church family into all aspects of our lives, helping His Spirit by creating spaces and places where people can experience a deeper, more alive and joyous connection to God and others, growing in mutual love and support, and benefitting us and the community in which we serve.

Who we are & what we do
Connect Southwater Community Church (Connect for short!) is an independent church affiliated to the UK Pioneer network, and part of Horsham Churches Together. We have a rich spiritual and missional heritage in our DNA and share vibrant connections to other Christian networks and organisations.
Together with God and with each other our aim is to work out how to be a local community church on a mission to connect people to the love of God in Jesus!

Living out God's love for all people through service and mission:

- helping build His Kingdom by engaging in His restoration purposes for the world He loves, changing lives within and through our spheres of influence and presence, and praying for His Kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven
- following Jesus' Way of life of love, forgiveness and compassion, bringing healing, sharing the Good News of salvation, challenging injustice and shining the light of God's love and freedom wherever there is darkness and oppression

What a morning. Such a big thank you to Kath, from the moment she started talking this morning it felt the holy spirit was filling the hall. I’ve never felt God’s presence so tangible as this morning. I’m not good with words, and I don’t think this email will do justice to convey how moved I was this morning. The tears flowed non-stop and I don’t know why. I wasn’t sad. The words being spoken were just so, so powerful. I have only been attending this church since last summer, but boy what a family. Thank you all, god bless, and hopefully see you all next week

This is a church that makes it easy to belong. I experienced a warm welcome from the first time I walked in the door and over the years, I have been blessed to become part of the church family. I've been supported through the highs and lows of life, introduced to the Holy Spirit, encouraged and challenged to grow in my identity and calling in Christ.
